The Ponsonby Three – November 24th, 2023
1) Food Drive
Ponsonby Panthers are having a food drive to support the Centre Wellington Food Bank until Friday, December 1st. Help a neighbor in need! The items most requested by the Food Bank are:
- Large soup (Chunky, Habitant)
- Small soup (not tomato)
- Canned tuna
- Pasta sauce
- Canned pasta (e.g., ravioli, beefaroni)
- Canned tomatoes
- Peanut butter
Thank you for being so committed to your community and restocking the Food Bank’s shopping shelves. They also are often in need of toiletries such as deodorant, toothpaste, etc. Students can bring their donations directly to their classrooms.
2) Wanted: Volunteers for Panther Feast, Thurs. Dec. 7th
Looking for volunteers to bake or donate some nut-free desserts for the Panther Feast, to be dropped off the morning of December 7th. The desserts are for the teachers, volunteers, and special guests. Please email [email protected] if you are able to bake or if you are available to volunteer with preparations or clean-up for the Feast itself!
3) School Council Fundraising Updates
Fundscrip should be arriving next week. If you have not already indicated it on your order form and would prefer to pick up your gift cards, please let the office know.
