Priory Park Public School is located in a fairly densely populated area in the south of Guelph. Residences include single family town houses, some apartments, and detached homes. We back on to an extensive greenbelt, baseball diamond and tennis courts which helps promote health living and activity amongst our students.

School busing is available for students living north of College Avenue although many in our junior grades choose to walk.

Our school was built in 1976, is in excellent repair and offers a clean and healthy environment for students, staff, volunteers, and visitors. We are fortunate to host many volunteers in our school who help support a myriad of literacy based programs during and after school. Special education programs are major components of our school; these include one class of developmentally delayed pupils and one class for students with Learning Disabilities in the junior grades (4-6). Other exceptional pupils in regular class placements receive assistance through our special education resource teachers. We also have a dynamic ESL program which focuses on developing English language skills quickly for application in the regular classrooms. Students participate in co-curricular activities which include primary/junior intramurals, school sports teams and chess clubs.

Our dedicated, caring and skillful staff contribute to a very positive learning environment, student-staff-parent relationships, and students’ self-esteem. Our school motto is: Caring, Sharing, Learning and Growing and these values are instilled in the culture here at Priory Park.
