Looks like the winter weather has approached! Please ensure your children come with the winter gear they need for outdoor recesses.

Equity Discussion Invitation: We hope this letter finds you well. We are thrilled to extend a warm invitation to an upcoming event that promises to be both enlightening and impactful for our school community. Please see the attached invitation for a meeting scheduled on Nov 29th at 6pm. Celebrating Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Rockwood.pdf  My team and I are eagerly anticipating this evening, where we’ll delve into discussions aimed at enhancing inclusivity within our school environment.

 Ross High School will be coming to share their musical bands on Tuesday Nov 28th in the gym with students in the afternoon at 1:30 pm. This also allows our students the opportunity to see the musical band opportunities available.

Communication: Follow us on Twitter now called X to see the posts from the school @RockwoodPS. This is the method of communication we use to post photos and this our weekly email blasts for updates.

Schoolcashonline.com: There is currently an issue with schoolcashonline.com. It should be functioning soon.  Items such as pizza, milk and pitas will be available to purchase for the term. A reminder that pizza slices, cookies and milk are available for purchase. Every last Thursday of the month cookies ($1.50) and popcorn ($2) are available for sale.

The Upper Grand Learning Foundation (UGLF) is as a non-profit, registered charitable organization dedicated to improving educational opportunities for students, families and their communities in which the Upper Grand District School Board serves. The Foundation sees potential in every student, and believes that student learning can be further supported through partnerships, relationships and opportunities with business, government, and the greater community.

You can make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by donating today and receive a tax receipt. You can also earmark funds to go back to Rockwood Centennial by writing that in the request.
