School Council Meeting – everyone is welcome to attend

the next RRM School Council meeting will be held on Monday, November 6th at 6pm in the Library Learning Commons
November Days of Recognition
This month is full of special days and weeks of recognition!

- November is Hindu Heritage Month in Canada
- Nov 4-5 -Clocks are turned back one hour for Daylight Savings time
- Nov 5-11 is Treaties Recognition Week
- Nov 5-11 is Veterans Week
- Nov 8 is Veterans Day
- Nov 11 is Remembrance Day. We will be having our Remembrance Day Assembly on Nov 10 at 11:30am in the Gym- all parents/guardians are welcome to attend!
- Nov 12 is Diwali, a Hindu Festival of Lights that celebrates the triumph of Light over Darkness, Good over Evil and the human ability to overcome.
- Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week is Nov 19-25
Students will be engaged in a variety of learning opportunities related to these Days of Significance.
Report Cards – sent home Nov 16: Please test the Online Report System
- The Board online portal for report cards will be opening soon.
- More information will be coming for parents to download their children’s report card.
- Please login and contact our office if you have any trouble. Mrs. Dolson is available to help with any technical issues.
- For this round of Progress Reports we will be printing them for all parents.
- For Term 1 Reports in February, the reports will only be available online.
Online Booking for Parent/Teacher Interviews coming soon:
- More information will be coming soon so parents and guardians can book parent teacher interviews online.
- Interviews will be held on the evening of Thursday, November 23 and during the day on Friday, November 24
- There will be no school for students on Friday, November 24th
