RRM Parent Update- Jan 23, 2024
Term One is ending soon. Teachers will be writing report cards and an email with information about accessing report cards online will be coming home soon.
Important dates:
PA DAY
This Friday, Jan 26 is a PA Day. There is no school for students. Staff will be writing report cards.
Reports will be available online on Feb 15 through the Parent Portal
Please make sure you are able to access the portal. Click on the link and follow the instructions.
PIZZA ORDERS
Sunday Jan. 28 – Last day to order pizza for this round. Late orders cannot be added to the system.
**note – Family Day is Monday Feb. 19 – Pizza day will be Tuesday Feb. 20.
DANCE FRIDAYS
Thank you to the Grade 5/6 class and Ms. Bonney for organizing Dance Fridays!! The whole school gathers in the gym on Friday mornings for 15 minutes of awesome tunes and amazing moves!! It is a great way to start off the day on a positive note. Way to go Hawks!!
This week, Dance Friday will be on Thursday due to the PA day.
SCHOOL SPIRIT
Ms. Hart-Ruhl and the Kindness Club warm our hearts and spread joy throughout the school with their positive messages and beautiful thoughts. Keep up the great work!!
Our grade 5/6 class continues to set a positive example by helping the younger students. Check out the TV in the foyer for some great pics of amazing teamwork!
NEW DPA/RECESS EQUIPMENT
Thank you to our fabulous School Council for their contribution of new DPA/RECESS equipment for each class. After surveying each class, Council spent over $1500 outfitting every class with new DPA/Recess equipment for our Hawks to use. We appreciate all that our council does for our school. The Kindies are making good use of their new TV. All of our classes are now equipped with technology to support their learning. Thank You, Council!!!
