Monday – Solar Eclipse Info
ALL students will be bringing home one pair of approved Solar Eclipse Glasses for viewing the Eclipse on Monday. Please read the accompanying letter as it goes over some safety tips. Please see WDGPH’s website Our eclipse webpage which is now live! Public Health has also prepared this Public Health Safety for Solar Eclipse (PDF) fact sheet.
CBC Kitchener Waterloo will be in this afternoon talking to Ms. Sollen and our grade 3/4 class about the eclipse. Check out the website cbc.ca/kw on Monday morning to see if we make the news!! The audio may also be on CBC K-W’s “The Morning Edition”.
UGDSB Skills Competition:
Thank you to Ms. Sollen and Mr. Robnik who took 12 of our students to the UGDSB Skills Competition in Guelph. We had two teams participating in Robotics and Lego Challenges. Our students did a great job of representing Ross R MacKay!
