A special letter to Graduating Gr 8 Students and their families
Dear Grade 8 students and parents,
We understand that this has been a challenging year for everyone but especially for our grade 8 students. You deserve to be honoured for the amazing work you have accomplished and you certainly deserve to be recognized as graduates of Sir Isaac Brock. We are planning on holding a graduation ceremony sometime in the fall. This of course will depend on school board and public health guidelines to ensure we respect public distancing rules. We will notify all students and their families once we have a clearer picture of how to safely organize a graduation.
In the meantime, grade 8 students and their parents are invited to come to the front doors of the school on Tuesday, June 23rd between 9am and 5pm to pick up their report card, graduation certificate and a special token to honour their graduation from SIB and transition to high school!
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this truly unique situation over these last few months. We couldn’t be more proud of the SIB graduating class of 2020 and the way you have all handled the uncertainties of the year. The flexibility you have demonstrated will most certainly be an asset to you all in the future.
Congratulations Grade 8s for all your hard work to get you to this point in your lives. We wish you all the best in the future.
