Hello Victory PS families! We hope that you are all safe and well as we make our way through another year of COVID. On a more positive note, we would like to share some good news with you to warm you up during this cold winter!
- THE KINDNESS PLEDGE: Victory PS Council has taken the Kindness Pledge in the hopes of making our local community more kind and inclusive. We encourage you to take the pledge as well! More details can be found at kindnesspledge.ca. Why not take the pledge on Random Acts of Kindness Day, happening on February 17?
- SCREENAGERS FILMS: The UGDSB is generously sponsoring a free, on-demand screening of two important films that discuss the impacts of screens on our kids. “Screenagers” and “Screenagers – Next Chapter” will be available for on-demand viewing from the comfort of your home for the week of April 11, with an engaging follow up panel discussion to be held online the evening of April 20. - A SUCCESSFUL 12 DAYS OF GIVING: Thanks to all of the Victory PS families who gave during the 12 Days of Giving in December! Together, we raised $271for Wyndham House, as well as a trunk full of gifts! Wyndham House was so grateful and overwhelmed by the support of our Victory families. Thank you!
