First Day Plan
Hello to our William C. Winegard Families,
All students please make your way to your class line in the morning. Please arrive closer to 8:40. The school day will begin at 8:40am and end at 3:00pm.
Students arriving by bus will be dropped off in front of the school. Students will make their way to the back of the school and line up in front of their class sign at their designated spot. We will have staff outside to help direct students.
We ask that each household limit themselves to 1 parent/guardian accompanying children at both drop off and pick up. This is to aid in physical distancing for the safety of our students, staff and community. We also ask that families exit the tarmac area once their child has lined up or they have been picked up. Please remember to complete the daily screening for your child prior to coming to school. Follow this link: https://covid-19.ontario.ca/school-screening/
Please remember to send a minimal amount of items. Please also ensure that your child has a water bottle to refill. We encourage families to walk, or park on the side streets and limit the use of the drop off zone. If social distancing can not be maintained we will have to close the parking lot during drop off and pick up.
