If you are moving please make sure to contact the office.

PIZZA AND MILKDownload

Pizza and milk orders may be made online through https://ugdsb.schoolcashonline.com/

Please note all orders must be done online as no order forms will be coming home. Orders must be in by Sunday, March 3rd at midnight.   LATE ORDERS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!

KISS AND RIDE

It has been very busy in the Kiss and Ride area and the parking lot.  The Kiss and Ride zone is meant as a drop and go area.  Cars are not to be parked and left unattended.  If you need to park, pull into a parking spot or park on the available side streets.  We need to keep the parking lot and the bus area clear and safe.

Do you have a great idea for future fundraising at William C. Winegard or some time to volunteer? Please send us an email at [email protected]

Next meeting: March 27th – 7:00-8:15 – Virtual

RECESS REMINDERS

As we move into the early spring season, our yard can become wet, icy and slippery. Staff send reminders to children who like to ‘explore’ our puddles and mud of the need to stay away from these areas for both safety and cleanliness reasons. We will close muddy, icy and wet areas when needed. However, it is inevitable that some children will find mud and become wet and dirty. Please consider adding an extra pair of socks and pants to your child’s backpack.  Waterproof pants or splash pants are also a great idea!

SPRING DRILLS
During the spring we will be conducting the following drills:
– 3 Fire Drills
– Severe Weather Drill
– Bomb Threat Drill
– Lockdown Drill

Our School Safety officer, Natasha Grant, will be joining us for our Lockdown Drill in late March.

ImagesFOOD AND FRIENDS – Live Free Campaign

William C. Winegard PS and The Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington are working hard to meet the growing need in our community, and that includes fighting food insecurity through our Help Kids Live Free From Hunger campaign. 100% of the funds raised between March 4th -8th will go towards providing healthy meals to students through our School/Agency program. With your help, we can continue to provide meals for our community.

We hope you’ll join us in this challenge and help support those in need within our School/Agency community. Campaigns like Live Free help us continue to meet the growing need within our community and ensure those most in need feel supported. Please Click here to donate to Live Free. If you choose William C. Winegard PS from the drop-down list your donation will be directed to the school student nutrition program.   Families also have the option to donate through our schoolcashonline.com.
