Aberfoyle Alligators – A Place to Find Your Calm

Posted April 30, 2020

Hello everyone;

Your children have been in communication with their teachers via Google Classroom. They receive their assignments, ask for help and also submit finished work using this site. If you take a look below, you will see another way for them to be connected to the school, but also get involved an many activities to help them along the way.

In recognition of Mental Health/Education week, a new school-wide classroom has been created. It’s called the Aberfoyle Alligators – A Place to Find Your Calm and it is full of different topics for our students and families to enjoy. Please take some time to check it out!

The classroom code is saapsyp and all students are welcome to explore the engaging mental health resources, fun activities and calming tools. There will be daily fun challenges to keep our kids engaged and mindful! We would love for all Aberfoyle students to belong to this classroom.

Staff members will also be inviting students to this site. However, if they log into Google Classroom and use the code above, they can join right now.

A special thank you goes out to a number of staff members for setting this up, but especially, our Child and Youth Counsellor, Ms. Fairfield and our Educational Assistant, Ms. Clowe. Thank you!

Best regards,

Paul Tribe, Principal
