This year Remembrance Day services for our school community are going to be done virtually in each homeroom.  Students will watch performances presented and recorded by small groups of our students in social distance settings.  We will also watch video segments that deal with war memories and topics presented by the Royal Canadian Legion and the Canadian Heritage organization.
The Royal Canadian Legion has given us poppies to distribute this year.  Due to our Covid-19 guidelines we are unable to accept donations at the school for the Royal Canadian Legion, this year.  Donations may be given online directly to the Legion through their website of which the link is provided below (to click or to copy and click).

We thank all students and families for contributing to our 2020 Remembrance Day efforts by watching performances quietly and by talking about war and conflict patiently and respectfully during conversations that arise from war topics presented in books, photos and videos.
To you in peace,
The Aberfoyle Staff
