Virtual Pumpkin Carving Contest (Poster Link)
This year the Pumpkin Carving Contest is back but with a twist . . . it will be a VIRTUAL Pumpkin Carving Contest!
Contestants are asked to plan and create their best jack o’lantern yet and submit a picture, along with your child(ren)’s name and category to Ms. Spike no later than Tuesday, October 27th, 2020 at 8pm ([email protected]). All pictures submitted will then be organized by category and placed in a slideshow for students to view on Thursday, October 29th, 2020 as part of our Halloween celebrations at the school (Orange and Black Day!).
Pumpkin/Jack O’lantern Categories
- Largest by Weight
- Best Carved
- Most Unusual
- Most Perfect Shape
- Best Decorated
- The Peoples’ Choice Award (New this year!!)
Each student will have the opportunity during class time on Thursday, October 29th to view the Pumpkin Contest Slideshow and vote on their favourite pumpkin for 2020-2021.
All participants will receive recognition for their entries.
