Updates For February 6-10, 2023
Hello Alma Families! Here are the 3 things you need to know today to keep up to date this week:
- Our next School Council meeting is this coming Thursday, February 9 at 6:30 PM in the library learning commons. We will be sending out the agenda to parents whose name is on the School Council email list. If you are not on the list and would like to be, please contact the office to have your name added. We can’t wait to share all of the amazing things happening at Alma PS!
- A representative of the Cops For Cancer program and is traveling from Georgian Bay to Lake Ontario this week to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. He will be passing by the area sometime tomorrow. We have been asked to send some information home about the event. You can find more information here: https://www.helpmeburycancer.com/.
- Please mark your calendars for this Friday’s Alma Winter Games, weather permitting. We will be spending the time outside as a school participating in fun events together, just like last year. Led by Ms. Robinson and her trusty student leaders, we will have fun, especially if we remember to dress for the weather that day might bring. Thanks in advance for sending extra winter mitts or hats, etc. if need be.
