School Council
Welcome from Central’s School Council
As a School Council made up of parents, community members and staff, we would like to welcome you to Central Public School and encourage you to make a difference in your child’s education. The goal of Central ‘sSchool Council is to work with our school and community to enhance our children’s school experience.
Through committee work we:
1) Strive to raise funds in fun and creative ways
2) Reimagine outdoor spaces to provide green, welcoming and fun places
3) Create a thriving and inclusive school community through social events
4) Encourage communication between all members of the school community.
Past and present initiatives supported with funds from Central’s School Council include:
- Scientists in School
- Greening of school grounds
- Recess equipment bins
- Technology upgrades
- Classroom resources and supplies
- Kindergarten area enhancements
- Playground equipment and maintenance
- Forest of Reading books for the library
- Birthday Book program
