Semester 2
Upper Grand District School Board secondary schools (both in-person and the Secondary Remote Program) will return to a regular timetable for Semester 2, where students take four courses per day. Please see our new Semester 2 daily schedule below beginning on February 2nd
Please remember Monday and Tuesday are turnaround days. Students in specialized class placements will attend on Monday however Tuesday is a PD Day and there will be no students in the building.
9:05 Warning Bell – Students proceeding to Period 1
9:10 – 10:25 Period 1 (followed by daily announcements)
10:30 – 10:35 Students transition to Period 2
10:35 – 11:50 Period 2
11:50 – 12:50 Lunch
12:50 – 2:05 Period 3
2:05 – 2:10 Students transition to Period 4
2:10 – 3:25 Period 4
3:25 Dismissal
Students will be eating lunch in their period 2 classrooms at the end of class. Once they finish eating, students are permitted to leave their classes while following social distancing protocols and wearing their masks.
Timetables were handed out this week but students can also access them online at https://students.ugdsb.on.ca. It is recommended you check your timetable on Tuesday as information is subject to change.
Due to the change in dismissal time, many bus routes will be running on different schedules in the afternoon. Please check the parent portal at https://stwdsts.ca/ over the weekend to double check your afternoon bus pick-up time.
