Semester 2 Q&A

Here are some questions that come up as we shift to semester 2:

1. Do I need to switch my locker? 

No, students usually keep the same locker for the whole school year. If students wish to move to a new locker in semester 2, we ask that they notify the office (we keep locker information in case students have trouble with their locks and need access).

2. How do I know what my classes are in semester 2?

Students can check their timetables and classrooms online (they can check their report cards too). Follow these steps:

Student access to ConnectEd Website – https://connect.edsembli.com/on/ugdsb/chss/portal/viewer/login/login.aspx?logintype=S

The Username is the first three letters of the student’s “usual” first name (first 3 letters) and their full last name.

The password is the student’s 9-digit Ontario Education Number (OEN), which can be found on a previous report card to the right of their name.

3. What is the first day of classes in semester 2?

Monday, February 5th, 2024

4. How do I know where to go on the first day of the semester? I might get lost.

Teachers will be in the hallways with copies of student timetables to make sure everyone makes it to class.
