Stardust Dance – The Stardust dance is happening on April 18th from 7-10pm. If you are interested in a LGBTQIA+ dance with all high schools in Guelph, come to the library during lunch, period 2 or period 4 to buy a ticket. Tickets are pay what you can between $5 – $10. You must buy a ticket by April 11th.

Youth in Policing Initiative – The Guelph Police is accepting applications until April 26th for the Youth in Policing Initiative. This is a full time summer job where students gain exposure to the Guelph Police. It’s available for students that are 15-18 years old and returning to school in September 2024. See the grade specific Google classrooms for details or come to Guidance for more information.

Black History and Black Brilliance – Every month is a good month to celebrate Black History and Black Brilliance. Have you heard of Willie O’Ree? Growing up in New Brunswick, William, mostly known as Willie, started playing hockey when he was just three years old. He became determined to make it to the National Hockey League (NHL), As a young adult, Willie got hit with a puck. It caused him to go blind in one eye. Willie knew that his disability didn’t make him any less talented on the ice. He kept his injury a secret. In the late 1950’s, he became the first Black player in the NHL.

Bake Sale – Bake Sale will not be happening today after school. Bake Cart will be coming around during 4th period.
