Skills Canada Competition – Best of luck to our Huskies who are competing in today’s Skills Canada event in Toronto! Special shout outs to Tristan and Cole who are competing in the “Team of 2 Carpentry Competition” and Caleb who is competing in the “Welding Competition”. We are so proud of all of your hard work and preparation!

Spring Sale Volunteer Hours – Hey Huskies! Would you like to learn more about earning some volunteer hours by helping out at the CHSS Spring Sale? Drop by to see Ms. Peterson in C103 – Green Industries to find out how you can earn volunteer hours this Friday and Saturday while participating in this fun community event that takes place right here at our school.

Intramural 3 Pitch – Intramural 3 Pitch will begin today at lunch. Meet on the ball diamond at 12:05.

Grade 12 Grad Trip – The Niagara Falls Grad Trip is happening on Friday May 24th. The cost is $30. See your Gr. as Homeroom teachers, or Ms. Angus for a permission form. This trip is a first come first served basis, so get your forms in!

Military Co-op Open House – Are you interested in a career in the military? The 11th Field Regiment is hosting a Military Co-op Information Open House on May 15, from 9:15 to noon. There will be lots of hands on and interactive activities. Lunch will be provided. If you are interested in attending, please see Mrs. Omland in the co-op office for a field trip form.

Conestoga College Trades Presentation – Thinking about getting into the trades? Want to know more information about how to do that and the best path for you? Then come to a presentation from Abby Brandes the Employer/Student Liaison at Conestoga College on May 22nd during period 2. Come to Guidance if you are interested. Talk to Mr. Smith with and questions.
