Spring Sale – Hey Huskies! Spring Sale is almost here. This Friday and Saturday we will be hosting this Annual Event which features an awesome BBQ, Bake Sale, Plant Sale and the chance to buy one-of-a-kind woodworking and metalwork along with photos, yearbooks and wellness products. Open Mic and Spa Day on Friday too! Be sure to check out all of the fun!

Canada Skills Competition – Today is Day 2 of the Canada Skills Competition in Toronto. Best of luck to Tristan and Cole as they complete their Team of 2 Carpentry Competition and to Caleb who is finishing up his Welding Competition. All of us here at College Heights are cheering you on with your coaches Ms. Beatson and Mr. Meyer. We are so proud!

Prom – Attention Grade 12’s – Prom tickets are on sale today at lunch outside the cafeteria. Prom is Friday May 31 and tickets are $55. Ticket price includes dinner and dance. See Ms. Rivers in Guidance if you have any questions.

Military Co-op Open House – Are you interested in a career in the military? The 11th Field Regiment is hosting a Military Co-op Information Open House on May 15, from 9:15 to noon. There will be lots of hands on and interactive activities. Lunch will be provided. If you are interested in attending, please see Mrs. Omland in the co-op office for a field trip form.

Black History and Black Brilliance – Every month is a good month to celebrate Black History and Black Brilliance. Have you heard of Mary and Henry Bibb? The Bibbs were abolitionists who helped people come to Canada to escape enslavement. They opened up their home in Sandwich, Ontario, as a stop on the Underground Railroad. They also founded a newpaper called Voice of the Fugitive. It published important information about politics, news, and social life from the perspective of Black freedom fighters.

Ultimate Frisbee – Ultimate Frisbee team, please meet on the soccer field today at noon. Come changed and ready to play!

Grade 12 Grad Trip – Attention Grade 12 Grads! The Niagara Falls Grad Trip is happening on Friday May 24th. The cost is $30. See your Gr. 12 Homeroom teachers, or Ms. Angus for a permission form. This trip is a first come first served basis, so get your forms in!

Conestoga College Trades Presentation – Thinking about getting into the trades? Want to know more information about how to do that and the best path for you? Then come to a presentation from Abby Brandes the Employer/Student Liaison at Conestoga College on May 22nd during period 2. Come to Guidance if you are interested. Talk to Mr. Smith with and questions.

Dungeons and Dragons – Dungeons and Dragons will happen today @ lunch in C106 to make up for yesterday being cancelled.

Chess Tournament – Hey Huskies, the CHSS chess tournament continues today at lunch in C106.

Bake Sale – Bake Sale will be happening today after school. Please remember to line up outside of the bake shop.
