Before and/or After School Program (BASP)

Posted January 10, 2020

Currently there is no Before and/or After School Program (BASP) at Drayton Heights Public School.

Parents are asked to complete the Board survey online.  The survey link is available on the Board website starting January 7th through to the end of January 2020.  The Board survey will assist with determining demand, viability, and whether or not a BASP can be offered for September 2020.

The Board is working in collaboration with the counties of Dufferin and Wellington Early Years Divisions and is also consulting with Child Care Operators to gather information and data about the demand and viability of BASP.

A Program is offered only where it is determined that there is sufficient need from parents and where there is viability.  This means that the numbers are viable for a Third Party Child Care Operator to provide a Program and there is a Third Party Child Care Operator able to provide a Program.

Completing the Board survey does not guarantee that there will be a Before and/or After School Program at Drayton Heights Public School.  It also does not register your child in the Program or put them on a waiting list.

For further information on Before and/or After School Program go the Board website.
