Getting Ready to go Back to School

Posted August 30, 2018

Are you counting down the days? Here are some helpful tips to get your children ready to return to their classrooms.

  • Get excited! Kids feed off of our energy. If they see that you’re excited and looking  forward to a new beginning, they will too.
  • Getting back to routine. In the summer, we tend to loosen up our schedules, but eventually, we need to get back to our routines. Healthy eating habits and earlier bedtime routines will help your children have a successful start!
  • Relax this weekend. Although this is the last long weekend of the summer, being rested, organized and feeling ready for Tuesday morning can reduce the stress of starting back to school for kids and parents!

Reduce Screen Time. Please practice a digital sunset. Any screen time around bedtime has been proven to interfere with the quality of sleep that our students need.
