Let’s Talk Day
On Wednesday, January 30th, Elora Public School students and staff will be participating in Bell Let’s Talk Day by encouraging conversations around the school. Students and staff will be encouraged to introduce and chat with staff they don’t know or have not met yet. Staff will be doing the same with students. Students will be awarded ballot tickets for the efforts they make to create a conversation. Ballots will be entered to win chances to choose a staff member to each lunch with, free time with friends in the gym during a recess or one lucky winner will be winning a chance for their entire class to go FREE skating at the Elora arena. On Wednesday, January 30th we encourage all of our families to stop the stigma associated with mental illness, encourage mental WELLNESS and join the conversation!
