Important End of Year Messages

Posted June 21, 2021

Hello Elora Families,
Please take a moment to review the important messages below.
Online Report Card
Families will be able to access their child’s report card online by the end of the day on Wednesday, June 23rd until July 5th.  We still have some families who have not registered to do this.   Please see this link for instructions:    https://sites.google.com/ugcloud.ca/parenthelp/report-cards-parent-portal
Here is the link to get to the Elora Connect Ed site to create your account:  https://www.ugdsb.ca/parents/connected/
Please do this as soon as possible.  If you require a paper copy of your child’s report card, please email this request to [email protected]
Student Personal Item Pick Up

For the most part, arrangements were made with individual teachers to pick up any remaining student personal belongings.   If you still need to pick something up, please email the school ([email protected]) to let us know and we will make a plan for pick up.
Chromebook Drop Off………please read 🙂
All chromebooks need to be returned to the school by the end of Tuesday, June 29th (this includes borrowed regular chromebooks and SEA chromebooks).    There is some building maintenance construction starting at the school on June 30th and we will not have access for most of the summer after June 29th.   Because teachers will be providing online programming until the end of the last day,  chromebooks can be returned to the school between 3:15 PM and 6:00 PM on June 29th.   However, if any families have decided that they will not be going online for the last few days of school and/or the device is no longer needed,  please return the chromebook early.  We will accept chromebooks at any point now during regular school hours.  Simply pull up front and give the school a call and we will come out to pick it up.   There are over 100 chromebooks with students right now.   To help us, please put your child’s name on the chromebook prior to return with masking tape or a sticky note.  If there are any concerns with the chromebook in terms of damage or operating issues, let us know.   Many of the concerns can be looked after at the Board office with a quick repair.  We were fortunate to be able to support so many learners with these devices during a tough time.  Thanks for your help with returning them to the school!  Let us know if you have any questions about this.
Thanks for reading!
