École Guelph Lake School Council welcomes all parents/guardians, staff, and students to another school year!

School Council would like to give a warm welcome to the many new families that are joining us this year. We are happy to have you as part of our growing community.

Being involved in our school council is an excellent opportunity to get to know other parents and see how a small amount of your time can greatly impact our new school.

School Council Meetings:

For the 2024-2025 school year, regular and virtual School Council meetings will run from 6:00-7:00 p.m.

Regular School Council Meeting Dates – in the school library:

Virtual School Council Event and Fundraising Meeting Dates:

  • November 21, 2024
  • March 6, 2025

School Council Events:

  • Snowed In Event – January 16, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
  • Parent Engagement Event – April 17, 2025 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
  • Summer Fest Event – June 19, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Ongoing Fundraising

Donations are always accepted through the Upper Grand Learning Foundation, and Charitable Tax Receipts are provided for donations of $20 or more.
To donate through the Upper Grand Learning Foundation, please visit

Make sure to include Guelph Lake Public School in the school name field to ensure the donation is given to our school.

Please support our school when purchasing through Mabel’s Labels.  Money raised from both fundraisers will go towards general School Souncil expenses, such as classroom funds for teachers and in-classroom programs for students.  Please click on the link to get started:
