School Council is excited to announce that elementary schools can proceed with lunch programs that include food delivery to school!
Having the choice of Pizza Day or Lunch Lady options, for example, would be great to relieve the worry of what to put in packed lunches all week!
We are able to have volunteers inside our lovely school for this purpose. Yay!!
BUT… this program is dependent on volunteers to run. In order to begin looking into possibilities, we need to ensure we have the volunteers to make it happen.
So, if you’re available from 12:30 – 1:30 pm once, twice, or even three times per week to help distribute the food to classes, please email [email protected].
As per board policy, volunteers need to be fully vaccinated and be willing to obtain a (free of charge) police record check.
