Hyland Heights News for February 19th

Posted February 19, 2021

Parents & Guardians,

Good evening, it’s been another good week here at Hyland Heights. We continue to learn about Black Heritage, Black Brilliance, and Black Futures. Our G.E.T Outreach presentations have started about the military.

Please check your child’s backpack for their report card tonight. If your child has a modified or alternative IEP, a copy of the IEP with term two goals will also be sent home. Please sign the last page of the report card and send it back in the next few days. Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you have any concerns.

Please continue to check our school website for other updates. We also post to the UG Connect App and Twitter.

A few reminders as we head into the weekend.

-Each child and staff member must complete the self-screening tool that is posted on our school website. Please do not send your child to school if they do not pass the screening and follow the advice that is given when you receive your child’s self-screening results.

-For the return to in person learning, students and staff are required to wear masks indoors and outdoors. Gaiters, scarves, neck warmers, or balaclavas cannot be substituted or used in place of cloth masks and/or medical masks. Face masks must be two layers and have ear loops. More information is available on the WDG Public Health website.

Take care and have a great weekend.
