About Us
Hyland Heights is a JK to 8 school located in the town of Shelburne. It serves Shelburne and the surrounding rural communities of Amaranth, Riverview, Melancthon and Corbetton. Approximately 35% of our students are bussed. Most students graduating from Hyland Heights do not have far to go when moving on to high school. Centre Dufferin District High School shares property with our school. The school replaced the Shelburne Junior School which had served the town and surrounding area for over 100 years. The old school bell graces our front entrance way and is a constant reminder of the school’s past.
