Holiday Hamper Program
Traditionally at this time of year Hyland Heights would be having its annual toy or food drive in support of the Shelburne Hamper Program. This program provides toys and food to families in need throughout our North Dufferin community. As you can imagine, the need in our community continues this year due to Covid-19 and as a school we are unable to collect items in the traditional way.
Many families have asked about the needs in our school and how we can support each other in trying times. In our school we have a Winter Holiday Angels Program where families in need let the school know and staff and parents work to fill their wish list. If you are interested in helping purchasing an item off that list please send me an email at [email protected] For people wanting to make larger donations to Winter Holiday Angels Program, the Upper Grand Learning Foundation will offer a tax receipt to those who donate to this program.
If you are in need of support during any of the holidays in the month of December, please email Brittany Guindon. We do keep this information confidential and no one knows who they are purchasing items for.
