Scientist In The School Stem Grant
Hyland Heights Elementary School in Shelburne is grateful to receive a STEM curriculum “boost” from Scientists in School thanks to a 2022 Booster Grant from Dufferin Community Foundation and local sponsor RLB. A new project where Scientists in School will provide 6 virtual classroom STEM workshops to schools serving lower-income communities in Dufferin County. Teachers will be supported with a Resource Package and hands-on activities that help solidify the curriculum concepts. The project will benefit 150 students in Dufferin County.
