Arts Council

Arts Council was created to plan and run many of the arts related events and workshops that happen at Ross. Starting in Fall 2010, the Arts Council will be run out of Ross’ student leadership course.

Events

Coffee Houses

Every semester Ross puts on a coffee house where students perform songs, play music, provide comedy and improv situations as well as encourage spoken word poetry. Come on out for a night of talent and fun!

Battle of the Bands

Ross hosts both its school battle of the Bands and the interschool battle of the bands. Sponsored by Hillside, the winner of the interschool battle of the bands wins a spot in the next year’s Hillside Festival.

Workshops

Keep your ears open for any announcements about workshops! In the past Ross has had a variety, ranging from encaustic art to drum circles.
