Minto Clifford PS Staffing Updates for the 2021-2022 School Year

The Minto Clifford staff would like to congratulate Mrs. Burgess on her retirement.  She has been teaching with the UGDSB for her entire career with many years being in Harriston at Harriston Sr. and Minto Clifford PS.  We wish her all the best in her well-deserved retirement.

Mr. Boyce will also be leaving Minto Clifford PS as he continues his leadership journey as the new Principal at Alma PS.  Mr. Boyce joined Minto last year.  He has been a wonderful asset to the school team and an amazing partner as we have moved in and out of remote and in-person learning.  We wish him all the best in the next chapter of his career.

Madame Pennie has accepted an increase of time and will be teaching French Immersion at JD Hogarth in Fergus.  Madame Pennie has only been with us for one year.  During that time she has done a fantastic job to bring a love of the French language and culture to intermediate students.  Bon chance Madame!

Minto Clifford PS welcomes Ms. Tracy Phillips to the school as our new VP.  Ms. Phillips joins the UGDSB from the Durham District School Board.  She has been working as the Special Education Facilitator for the past 3 years.  We are excited to welcome Ms. Phillips to our team.

Ms. Simmons has accepted the full-time kindergarten job.  She will join our strong Kindergarten team to welcome our youngest learners into the school.  Ms. Simmons has been to Minto many times as a supply teacher.  We look forward to her learning and growing with us in 2021-2022.
