Power outage affecting our school (Feb. 23, 2022)

Dear parents/caregivers,
We would like to provide you with some information about a situation at our school today.
Late this morning, the power went off at the school. This was a wide-spread power outage affecting multiple locations. The power was restored between 1:30-2pm.
Throughout the outage, washrooms remained operational and we still had access to running water for hand washing.
Please know that throughout this, all health and safety protocols were being followed and students were safe and well.
If parents would like to come to the school and pick up their child, they are welcome to do so. Please wait at the front door, where you will be met by a staff member. Your patience is appreciated as students will be need to be retrieved from class on an individual basis, as our PA System is not currently working.
