A green background: Taking just a bit of time to identify gratitude can have an impact.
A green background: Activity - Create a gratitude wall or space at home where everyone can write something they are grateful for - the whole family, visitors, friends. Seeing what others are grateful about is also quite powerful
A green background: Championing Health and well-being - Did you know? The Mayo Clinic found that “Expressing gratitude is associated with a host of mental and physical benefits. A blue graphic that says: Self-advocacy can look different for everyone, but it often includes speaking up for yourself
A blue graphic that says: A person’s ability to self-advocate can be influenced by many factors, including personal identity, lived experiences, and how welcoming and inclusive different environments are.
A blue graphic that says: Activity: Celebrate strengths: Ask your child(ren) to share something they’re proud of and talk about the skills and strengths they used to accomplish it.
A blue graphic that says: CHAMPIONING HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: Studies show that students who develop strong self-advocacy skills are better equipped to seek help, understand their learning needs, and communicate effectively with teachers and peers.
