Label Clothing – With the warmer weather this week, please ensure your child’s clothing is clearly labeled. Gloves, hats, and sweaters are often removed during recess and forgotten outside, causing our lost and found to grow once again!

Live Free Day – Today was Live Free Day. School Cash Online will remain open until the 16th for anyone wishing to donate to the Keeping Kids Fed at School Program. This program provides snacks to students in need, funds our hot lunch and salad days, and offers full lunches to any students who need them. Please consider donating so we can continue to provide healthy food to hungry minds.

Dance-a-thon – On March 7th, the School Council is hosting a Dance-a-thon! Pledge forms and money are due by March 7th, and School Cash Online will remain open until March 16th. Funds raised from this event will go towards Arts Day!

Live Free Campaign - The Keeping Kids Fed at School Program brings healthy food to hungry minds. JDH offers a daily snack program and lunch programs throughout the month. Cookies and Popcorn - The Equity and Inclusion Club & The Pride Awareness Group (PAG) have started selling cookies and popcorn every wednesday and friday $2 during the second nutrition break. Cookies will be for sale until mid-May and proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards school activities and presenters.

Student Author Alert! We’re thrilled to announce that our very own student, Brynn Law, has co-written a book with her Grandma! On Tuesday, January 28th, Brynn and her Grandma will present to our Grade 4-6 students in the gym. They’ll also bring 50 copies of their book, available for purchase at $10 each. Plus, they’re generously donating two copies to the Learning Commons so everyone will have a chance to enjoy their story. We can’t wait to celebrate this wonderful accomplishment with Brynn and her Grandma!
Outdoor Ed Funding We hope the intermediate students had a great time on the slopes yesterday! In an effort to keep costs down, the ski trip was supplemented by outdoor end funding.
