PMPS Weekly Update February 29th, 2024

Posted February 29, 2024

Good evening Mustang Families,

Thank you for your support for our Live Free campaign, it’s been very successful! We’ve been selling cookies all week long! A big shout out to local business Quest for Cakes for supplying the cookies and our nutrition program. Tomorrow  will be our last day of sales.

We have so many ways for your child(ren) to get involved here at PMPS. This week’s clubs alone included: GSA, choir, junior basketball, intermediate basketball, curling, Forest of Reading, and art club. We are thankful for teachers who are facilitating these activities.

Our Twitter account is full of updates, please check it out: @margaret_ps . I update our website regularly as well: www.ugdsb.ca/PrincessMargaret/ . Our school council also posts to Instrgram @princessmargaretps. Please take a moment to have a look.

IMPORTANT:

I have received updates from WDGPH on students who are outstanding on their immunizations.. Parents/caregivers would have gotten a letter in the mail if their child(ren) were overdue for vaccinations and a robo call.  The new suspension date for elementary students is March 20th. We want to avoid medical suspensions. The new date gives families the March Break to either complete an immunization or the exemption process. Parents who have questions need to contact the Client and Community Support Line: 1-800-265-7293 ext. 7006  . Parents can report immunizations:   Online: www.immunizewdg.ca using Ontario Health Card #    You can also view current, overdue, and upcoming immunizations  Email: Send a copy of your record to [email protected]  .Thank you for your attention to this.
