Principal’s Message – December 11, 2022

Posted December 11, 2022

Wow!  Wow! Wow!  It was amazing to see so many families yesterday at School Council’s Winterfest.  Thank you to all of you for supporting this community event.  A big thank you to our organizing committee lead by Shelly, Jennifer and Kelli.  We appreciate the hours that you and all the parent volunteers put in to make a successful and festive day for all.

A note from the Intermediate Team:

Our Recipes in a Jar should be delivered to the school next week!  We are planning to have pick-up available from the school from 2:30pm – 4:30pm on Thursday, December 15th.  If you ordered a small batch, students will be able to take them home themselves, but otherwise it would be best to bring a vehicle or extra set of hands for pick up as the jars are glass and should be transported carefully.  When you arrive to pick up, please come straight to the Library/Makerspace.  Your jars will be there waiting for you.  It would be most helpful if you could please bring your own bag/box to transport the jars in. If this date/time frame does not work for you, please communicate that so we can make alternate arrangements.  If there is any delay in the shipment, you will be notified in advance, but otherwise the jars will be ready to pick up on Thursday!

Upcoming Dates:

  • December 19 – Spencer Wear/Spencer Colour (blue/black/grey) Day
  • December 20 – Festivus Day – dress to celebrate your favourite holiday
