Principal’s Message – March 21, 2021
Happy Spring! I know that we are all excited to see the warmer temperatures and the sun shining. It makes us all feel more hopeful and lighter.
We had a lot of fun in the school this past week with our “March Fake” spirit week. It was great to have so many students participate in the theme for the day, compete in our daily Kahoots and show their creative sides with our individual daily challenges. The art work, photos and writing have been amazing. All winners will be announced by the end of the week. All submissions are due by Wednesday at 9am.
Our virtual Scholastic Book Fair continues this week with already 211 books purchased. Be sure to check out the over 450 titles and stock up on your Spring reading list. Visit https://virtualbookfairs.scholastic.ca/pages/5156982 to check it out.
A reminder to continue to complete the Covid Screen daily before sending your children to school, and to keep them home if they are unwell. We want to keep everyone healthy and safe at Spencer.
