–       Students have had a great return to school week

COVID protocols

–       Protocols have essentially been the same since our students were generally already wearing masks outside.

Memorial Space for Evan and Amanda Lodge

–       Teachers have been supporting their classes well

–       Counselling and support available and will remain available for any students that might need support

–       The memorial will remain at the flag pole until Friday evening.

Equity and Racism

–       Daily announcements this month about black heritage, celebrating black leaders in our community. The school board is developing a new equity strategy, training staff and teachers are leading activities with students.

–       Council agreed to use these funds to purchase a set of mice for primary students and a robotics kit from the staff wish list.

–       Ken and Meaghan clarified that most of the items we previously approved have been purchased.
