Posted November 18, 2019

This week is Bullying Prevention & Awareness week.  We are really excited to share about the events happening this week that celebrate diversity and acceptance as we learn about ways to prevent Bullying.

Here are a few things to help you get organized:

Monday: READ ALOUD & BULLETIN BOARD: School-wide activity to create a ‘Bulletin Board’ based on video, “My biggest regret” & Willow Squad activity with Primary/Junior classes

Tuesday: SPIRIT DAY: Celebrating Diversity & Acceptance with a splash of PINK!   We encourage all students to celebrate who they are as people and wear it, show it, and express themselves how they feel with a splash of pink to also recognize Anti-Bullying Awareness Week.

BANNERS & BUTTONS: Students can have the opportunity to colour a piece of a banner, and make a button design on a template to be considered for creation with the “Button Maker”.

Wednesday: GIVE BACK CAMPAIGN:  Classrooms brainstorm ways to give back to the community.

KINDNESS CAMPAIGN BEGINS: #IncreaseKindness  #UGKindness

Thursday: WHOLE SCHOOL BINGO
