Program for Indigenous families in the UGDSB: Anishinaabemowin Nanda-gikendan “Seeking to Learn the Language”

A new weekend program for Indigenous families begins this September. Anishinaabemowin Nanda-gikendan – “Seeking to Learn the Language” – will run on Saturdays from 9-11:30am, from Sept. 18, 2021, to May 28, 2022.

Draft school year calendars for 2021-22 approved

At the Board Meeting held on April 27, 2021, trustees approved draft school year calendars for the 2021-2022 school year for elementary and secondary schools in the Upper Grand DSB. The draft calendars will now be submitted to the Ministry of Education for final approval.

All UGDSB schools directed to shift to remote learning effective Wed. April 7

The UGDSB has been notified by Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health that Public Health’s Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Nicola Mercer, will issue an Order, directing all schools within the WDG region to shift to remote learning effective Wednesday April 7, 2021.
