Recipes in a Jar Fundraiser
Hello ILPS Families!
We are excited to let you know about a way you can help Council raise funds for the new playground while at the same time give back to the community. Our latest fundraiser is Recipes In A Jar and this is all you need to know to easily support this Council initiative.
What Is Recipes in a Jar?
Recipes in a Jar offers a selection of 15 different products, packaged in a reusable glass jar, all for the reasonable price of $12 per jar. There are also 5 of the products that are packaged in pouches and sell for $10 per pouch. These products are the dry ingredients you need to make sweet or savory food items, such as brownies, cookies, m
uffins and soups. Simply add the other required ingredients and follow the directions. These could be used at home or would make the perfect gift for someone else.
4 Reasons Why You Should Participate
1. Recipes in a Jar partners with non-profit organizations whose mission is the integration of workers with temporary or permanent limitations to offer work opportunities.
2. For every product sold, we will receive a meal to give to our local food bank to help those right in our community.
3. All of the profits from this fundraiser will go directly towards the building of a new playground structure for our school.
4. Every product sold will get the selling student entered into a draw to win 1 of 3 prizes (1. $100 Boston Pizza gift card 2. $50 Boston Pizza gift card 3. $25 Boston Pizza gift card). The more you sell, the more chances you have to win!
How You Can Participate
Buy Products Yourself: All you have to do is visit our online store by using the link below. Once you are there, you can see all of the products available. Simply add your items to your cart.
Once you are ready to check out, you will need to follow the very easy steps to set up your account. Step 4 will ask you to choose the preferred delivery method. You will have two options, either pay for direct delivery to your home or get free delivery to the school to be picked up in early December.
Step 6 asks you to add the “participant you would like to support”. This is where you will enter the name of the selling student for their chance to enter the draw.

Have Others Buy Products: You have two options if you are having other people buy products. You can take orders and collect payment on your own and add those products to your final order that you place following the above instructions. The other option works by sending the above link and instructions to anyone you think may wish to support the student in their fundraising efforts.
How Long You Have to Place Your Order
Our online store at the link above is open now and ready to start accepting orders. It will remain open until Friday November 17th. We are not able to accept any orders after the store closes, so be sure to get your orders in on time.
