  • To all Grade 11s.  Are you interested in the Specialist High Skills Major Program but haven’t signed up yet?  If so, please contact Mr Murphy for information. SHSM students can now sign up for free First Aid and CPR training.  Check the SHSM Google Classroom for more information and sign up in the Binder in Guidance

  • Attention Raiders! Our yearbook, Diary of a Raider, has been selected, and now we need a cover design. If you’re artistic or creative, submit your yearbook cover to Mrs. Dhami or Ms. Annis in Room 250, or email it to mdhami@ugcloud.ca . The winner will receive a free yearbook, and all submissions are due by Thursday, October 16th—don’t miss your chance to leave your mark on Raider history!

  • Good morning Alliance of Colour! The first event for the AOC takes place tomorrow afternoon in the theatre. Please make sure that you have returned a signed permission form to Ms Ovington to receive your ticket. We will meet in room 108 tomorrow at 12:30pm.

  • Attention all grade 12 French immersion students. Prep sessions for the upcoming DELF exams will run every Wednesday at lunch in room 108, starting today. Please bring your lunch with you and arrive promptly at 11:45 ready to get started.

  • Good morning, Raiders! Are you ready to kick off some fun? Flag Football intramurals are back, and it’s your chance to score big with your friends! No tackling, no problem; just strategy, speed, and a whole lot of laughs. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just looking to pass the time, everyone’s welcome to join the huddle. Sign up by Friday on the Athletic Council bulletin board outside of the gym. Don’t fumble this opportunity — it’s going to be a touchdown of a time!

  • Art Club will meet tomorrow at lunch in the art room.  Everyone is welcome!

  • The junior girls’ basketball team leave at 1:55 p.m. today for their home game against Wellington Heights. Go Raiders!

  • Hey Raiders! If you’ve got a spare first period and got your school photo taken, guess what? Your photo package and student ID card are ready! Slide on down to the Guidance Office and pick them up.

  • Raiders Varsity Boys Hockey is back! The sign up list is posted outside the gym. Forms for tryouts will be posted outside the gym by the end of the day. These must be signed prior to going on the ice. There will be a brief meeting Thursday at the start of lunch in the gym for all of those wishing to tryout. Our first tryout will take place Tuesday October 14th at 7a.m. Any questions or concerns please feel free to talk to Mr. Van Der Giessen or Mr. Macfarlane. See you all at the meeting Thursday.

  • A big congratulations goes out to the EDHS Golf team members who represented our school at CWOSSA these past two days. On Monday, Reid Graham played magnificently and put up a strong score of 83 against a very competitive field. Unfortunately, his score fell short of the OFSAA cutline. The Failing sisters, Sophia and Lilianne,  battled the wet and cold weather yesterday in Guelph. They showed resilience and overcame the elements posting some fantastic scores. A massive congratulations goes out to Sophia who took home the gold medal in the Open division. She will represent EDHS at OFSAA next week. Amazing work Raiders!

  • The Varsity Boys soccer team leave at 1:30pm for their home game at EPS against Westside today.

  • The Food Drive is in Full Swing ! Please bring any Donations to room 109 after announcements ! Tomorrow's Theme is ANY Canned Good !
