  • Good morning EDHS! Feed the Need is starting Monday!! Don’t forget to bring Cleaning Products, Toilet Paper & Paper Towels. These “most needed” items are worth double the points! Let’s support the Erin community and show how EDHS can Feed the Need together!

  • A reminder to all actors that there is rehearsal today at lunch. Please check the rehearsal schedule on google classroom to see if you’re called. If you would like to be an actor please speak to Ms Dinniwell or Mr Mok about available opportunities.

  • Attention Specialist High Skills Majors in Hospitality or Health and Wellness. There will be a sushi making seminar January 9th from 9am-11:30am in the Cafeteria. There are a few spots open. Sign up in Guidance. Space is limited so sign up now - first come first served!

  • Good morning, sports fans! The Championship Intramural Volleyball Match is happening today at lunch in the gym. Come watch Crazy Clash Club and Penezuela battle it out for ultimate bragging rights and serious “spike-tacular” action. Entry is just a $2.00 donation… cheap thrills for big skills! Don’t miss the bump, set, and championship glory!

  • Prom, prom, prom! To all grade 12 students interested in being part of the prom committee, we will have our first meeting today in the family studies room at lunch!

  • STAND UP (AOC):

Hurricane Melissa, one of the most powerful storms ever recorded, hit Jamaica on the 28th October. With wind speeds of up to 185 miles per hour, the hurricane had a catastrophic impact on the country.

The EDHS Alliance of Colour is raising funds and supplies to help those in need after the hurricane in Jamaica. School supplies, medical supplies, and toiletries are in great need and will be collected daily in the school foyer from Dec 5-12. Monetary donations can be made on school cash online. The Umbrella of Hope organization will take all donations to Jamaica later this month.

We hope to make a huge difference for all those impacted by this natural disaster. Thank you so much for all of your help.

  • The Late Bus service is available today. If you are interested in taking the late bus you will need to have permission forms signed prior to riding the bus. Permission forms are in the Main Office & Guidance. QR sign up codes are posted around the school. You must register before 12:30pm or the bus will be cancelled

  • Attention Specialist High Skills Majors. There is a Sports Taping and Wrapping Certification happening here at school on Tuesday December 9th from 12:40-2:30 in Room 109. Space is limited. Please sign up in the binder in Guidance.

  • There is a yearbook meeting today in room 250 at lunch!

  • Congratulations to the EDHS Girls Hockey Team for collecting 3 W’s at yesterday’s tournament in Orangeville. Game 1 kicked off with a serious comeback in the 3rd period, allowing the girls to win 3–2 over Westside! Huge shoutout to Bella Gallant, who dominated the ice and earned Player of the Game! Game 2, Erin shut things down with a 3–0 victory against Norwell! Taylor Wright a well-deserved Player of the Game! To wrap it up, EDHS battled for a 2–1 win over Wellington Heights! Clutch plays all around, but Evelyn Yang stole the spotlight as Player of the Game, scoring both goals! Amazing effort and incredible teamwork from every player. Way to represent, Erin!
