In the event of a No Bus Day, the school will remain open. Our office staff will continue to complete safe arrival procedures.
Bus students will be marked as “not present” unless they are dropped off at school. These absences will not count toward their overall attendance record.
If your child is a walker and will not be attending school, please call the office to excuse their absence.
If an inclement weather day happens on a scheduled meal day, an email will be sent to all parents with details about the rescheduled date.

We want to share an important reminder as we work together to support our students both in and outside of school. Recently, we’ve seen an increase in concerning online behaviour among some students outside of school hours. This includes the use of disrespectful language—such as sexist or racist comments, and remarks that belittle the culture or identity of others—as well as the spreading of rumours through group chats, social media, and image sharing.
As a school community, we are committed to fostering kindness, respect, and inclusion in all spaces, including online. We encourage families to regularly check in with their child about their digital activity, talk about the importance of respectful communication, and reinforce safe and responsible online habits.
We will continue to provide education around digital citizenship and cyber safety throughout the school year. By working together—school and home—we can help guide our children to make thoughtful choices, treat others with dignity, and stay safe online.
Thank you for your continued support in helping us create a safe and respectful environment for all students.

We are currently seeking public input on Policy 518 - Students with Life-Threatening Medical Conditions.
This policy conveys the board’s commitment to supporting students with prevalent medical conditions, such as asthma, anaphylaxis, diabetes and epilepsy, to ensure they have full access to school in a safe, inclusive, and healthy environment. This includes fostering well-being and empowering students to manage their medical needs to the best of their ability.
