Water is life. Water is something we don’t always think about, but for many people living in remote reserves, it’s hard to get clean, safe water. Without it, daily life becomes much harder—affecting their health, education, and future. We need to work together to make sure everyone has access to this basic need. Since 2015, the Canadian government has lifted 88 long-term drinking advisories on reserves. However, as of February 2020, 61 long-term drinking water advisories remained in effect.
This is the last week of try outs for the girls soccer team. Tryouts are Tuesday and Thursday morning at 7:30 and Wednesday after school. All in the double gym. Hope to see you out at tryouts.

Please be advised that food will not be permitted in the library starting today until this Friday. This restriction applies throughout the entire day, including lunch periods. This decision has been made due to ongoing concerns related to garbage.
Students are kindly asked to make alternative arrangements and find another location to eat lunch during this time. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us care for our shared space.
On Wednesday the GAEA club will be hosting a “design your own water filter station" at lunch in the 600 hall. Showcase your creativity and designing ability to help make a water filter in honour of world water day!
The Dungeons and Dragons club will be meeting today after school in the lower library.
