The Jr Boys’ volleyball team captured their first win of the season yesterday against Centre Wellington. After dropping the first set, the boys bounced back to win the next three. Congrats to the boys on a great team effort, led by some outstanding serving from Brody Comi, and dominance at the net from Evan Robbins.
The Sr boys volleyball team won their match yesterday against CW in a close 5 sets. With great setting from Russell White, awesome serves from Nolan Tervit, and a huge kill to win the match from Ben Gawthroupe, this team showed true grit and determination to come back and win. Great play by all!

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the Terry Fox run! We had a great day on Friday and it was amazing to see everyone out in their blue and red! As a school we collected $1490 for the Terry Fox Foundation! Your money is going to support cancer research and people living with cancer. A extra congratulations to room 131 for raising the most money!! Congratulations Ms. Cochrane’s grade 9 science class!!! 🏒

Grade 12 students, Guidance will be starting our Life After High School Series on Tuesday, September 29th, and Wednesday, September 30th, during Block A in the Library. If you are in a Block A class, your teacher will be bringing you down to the Library to attend one of the sessions.If you have a spare during Block A, please come to the Library on one of these days to join us. This is a great opportunity to explore university,college, apprenticeship and job opportunities.

Congratulations to the ODSS Golf team for their outstanding results yesterday at the D10 Championship! Caleb Dickson finished 2nd overall. Our top boys’ team captured silver and will move on to CWOSSA next week, along with Chloe Kirkham from the girls’ competition. Each athlete represented our school with excellent sportsmanship throughout the day and should be proud of what they achieved!
