What could be better than a full day of Beach Volleyball, Mini Soccer and Ultimate Frisbee? Nothing, that’s what. So come to the double gym office and sign up your team for the 2nd Annual Kirkland Cup.

Are you interested in Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder or any other tabletop RPG? Then consider joining the Dungeons and Dragons Club. This will be the first year the club is running, so currently we are trying to determine how many people are interested. If you would like to join, please come to room 121 for a few minutes at lunch on Friday to sign up. We are looking for both new and experienced players. All are welcome.
we are very excited to announce that the Terry Fox run, Pep rally, and buyout are coming up on the 23rd, which is Next Tuesday.
The school will be collecting donations for Terry Fox on school cash online, or you can bring in a toonie to your teacher. Hair tinsel, and face paint will be available, and bear wear if you don’t have any will be available to buy on Tuesday and Thursday THIS week by the double gym. Get some to show the most school spirit we can! If you’re wearing bear wear or red and blue on the spirit day, you’ll be entered in a draw to win some vintage bear wear!
The Terry Fox run is in block B. The pep rally will be in block C, and the buyout will be in block D. The pep rally is going to involve games and lots of fun, so please come decked out in school spirit!
For the buyout, SENIORS will be going to senior girls basketball, and JUNIORS will be going to junior boys soccer. If you are interested in helping raise money during the pep rally, please fill out the form in you’re grade classroom. Can’t wait to see you decked out in red and blue and bringing some spirit with you next Tuesday!
Girl’s field hockey will be having a practice tonight after school. Please meet at the double gyms before heading out to the field. Remember shin pads, mouth guards and cleats are required! Let Mrs. Aultman, Ms. Coleman, Ms. Rook or Mr. Hague know if you are unable to attend.
The girl's field hockey team is looking for volunteers to keep score for five home games on Wednesday Sept 24th. Before volunteering, remember that you are missing classes on Tuesday for the Pep Rally, Terry Fox Run and buy-out.
Coaches can sign off on volunteer hours for the after school portion and will excuse you from class. Please let Mrs. Aultman know ASAP if you can commit.
