Your ODSS Bears Basketball teams are hosting Cross Town Rivals Westside Thunder. Come support the boys in their first Friday night lights game of the year. Jr’s play at 5:30 and Sr’s play at 7pm. Crispy Cream donuts will be on sale during the games.

Are you looking to help shape the Black Brilliance Movie Night? We are having a planning meeting today at lunch in Room 208, and we want your input! We are also excited that our vice principal, Ms. Dunkley-Buckley, will be joining the session to help us get the ball rolling. Whether you’ve been a part of Black Brilliance all year or you’re just looking to get involved, everyone is welcome.
Yesterday the Alpine ski team returned to their first CWOSSA in…. Well no one can really identify how long. Our small but incredibly talented team squashed a ton of gossip with every member contributing to a podium finish. In a field of over 200 athletes, our high school boys team finished bronze, honourable mention to Ronan M in sixth place and Oliver E in ninth. Our open boys team, including call up Ben H tied for first overall but were awarded second based on the tie breaker. Brydon H was third overall and Ben S was your CWOSSA champion! With one girl competing in a field of over 100 athletes, Mackenzie M had to bring her best… which she did capturing gold in the female race. That’s right, both of the CWOSSA champions are from ODSS! Huge congratulations to the team for an incredible day on the slopes.
