Did you know, many Indigenous teachings describe water as carrying stories, wisdom, and spirit. Water is honoured as a sacred, life-giving force. Science also reminds us that water makes up about 60% of the human body and supports nearly every process that keeps us alive. Water is life.
This is the last week of try outs for the girls soccer team. Tryouts are Tuesday and Thursday morning at 7:30 and Wednesday after school. All in the double gym. Hope to see you out at tryouts.
Today the GAEA club will be hosting a “design your own water filter station" at lunch in the 600 hall. Showcase your creativity and designing ability to help make a water filter in honour of world water day!
