O.D.S.S. Co-curricular Activities, Events and Teams

The following co-curricular activities are examples of programs that may run throughout the school year.  Check the ODSS Calendar on our website for additions and updates!  Also listen for announcements for meeting and tryout dates/times.

Events:

  • ODSS Weight Room (in 400 hall next to the lower gym) – open most afternoons after school from 3:15 – 4:15 – all are welcome. Staff supervisor is required

  • Open Gym – the double gyms are open at lunch for pick-up sports.  Staff supervisors are Phys Ed teachers.

  • Library – open daily from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  Books, novels and comics to read. Puzzles to build, games to play, lego to build!  White Pine Book Club, Game Club and Crafters Corner.  Trivia & Brain teasers to solve.  Use a chromebook to catch up on homework or search the Internet.  Quiet study areas available.  Meet and catch up with friends.

  • Orange Shirt Day – September 30

  • Remembrance Day Recognition

  • Art Showcase

  • Prom Committee meets bi-weekly on Fridays at lunch in room 129. Students will be planning prom.  Staff members are Ms Coleman, Ms Turner , Ms Fondacaro , Ms Aultman

  • Breakfast Club has grab ‘n go breakfast snacks available for all students, free of charge, every morning in the front hallway.  Volunteer hours are available. Students can see Ms Turner for more information about volunteering and to see if there is a time that works for them.

  • Bear Pantry – the pantry is always available to all students for ‘grab n go meals’ and meal planning at home.  No sign-in required as it is a help yourself pantry.  Volunteer hours can be earned for organization and shelf stocking.    Staff members are Ms Turner and Ms Fondacaro
