Theatre Centre Wellington travelled to St. Benedict’s Catholic High School in Cambridge on Friday March 1st, to compete in the Waterloo/Wellington District Festival for the National Theatre School Drama Festival. Centre Wellington’s play, “Jump Station,” was one of two shows that received the award of excellence for best production and will move on to compete in Gravenhurst in April at the Regional level. This play was written and directed by grade 12 student, Ailish O, who received the Adjudicator’s Award of Excellence for writing, directing and producing the show, while Milica G received the Stage Manager’s award for excellence in Stage Management. Staff advisors, Ms. Ritter and Ms. Reich are extremely proud of this dedicated group of students!
