The test message will be sent on Wednesday March 19 at approximately 4pm. It will be sent to staff and families via text, email and phone. The message will clearly indicate that it is a test and no action is required.

Due to inclement weather, UGDSB schools and offices in Zones 2, 3, and 4 (Centre Wellington, North Wellington and Dufferin) are closed today to staff and students. Students are to shift to remote learning, where possible. Staff should not report to work in person, and should shift to remote working where possible. All buses and taxis are cancelled to those affected schools. Schools and offices in Zone 1 (Guelph) remain open today.

Student Safety Reminder: Pick-Up and Drop-Off Procedures
To ensure student safety, we kindly remind families that the front parking lot is closed to all vehicles after 2:30 p.m., except for those with office-approved permission or accommodations. Many students use the front sidewalk to exit the school, and reducing traffic in this area is essential for their safety.
We ask that parents do not park or wait in your car in front of the school for pickup after this time. Please plan alternate arrangements for meeting your child at dismissal. We understand that the lower parking lot can become congested before and after school, so we encourage families to use the parking inlets on Blind Line or park on College Avenue to help ease traffic.
Morning drop-off runs from 8:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and is strictly reserved for Kiss and Ride pass holders. Passes are reserved for families with students in Kindergarten or Grade 1, or who have special accommodations. If you need a pass, please contact the office. In addition, we strongly encourage all students to arrive on time to maximize instructional time and minimize late sign-ins at the office.

Bar Burrito Rescheduled!

Grad Photo Retake Opportunities:
Our Graduation Photos are scheduled for March 26th. If you know your child will be absent on that date, there are 2 other opportunities to have a graduation photo taken. Please see the attached flyer for more details.

PIZZA!
Due to the school closure, pizza that was to be delivered yesterday will be rescheduled to next Wednesday, February 19th. That means there will be pizza day on both Wednesday and Thursday next week.

Please be aware that we are currently experiencing technical difficulties across the board which are preventing teachers and parents from accessing the report card system. We will let you know once reports are available or we have more information to share.

We are currently investigating a persistent issue regarding ConnectED accounts, affecting all student and parent accounts. The system is currently unavailable. We are actively working to resolve these issues.

Food Day orders:
Just a reminder that due to safe food and handling procedures, the office is not equipped to store hot lunches on food days. If your child is absent we are unable to save food past 12:30.

Kindergarten Registration is now open for UGDSB schools! If you have a child born in 2021, please see the information below. If you know of someone with a child who is eligible for JK next year, please pass this along as well.
