Hurricane Melissa, one of the most powerful storms ever recorded, hit Jamaica on the 28th October. With wind speeds of up to 185 miles per hour, the hurricane had a catastrophic impact on the country.
The EDHS Alliance of Colour is raising funds and supplies to help those in need after the hurricane in Jamaica. School supplies, medical supplies, and toiletries are in great need and will be collected daily in the school foyer from December 5th - 12th.
Monetary donations can be made on School Cash Online (link below). The Umbrella of Hope organization will take all donations to Jamaica later this month.
We hope to make a huge difference for all those impacted by this natural disaster.
