On Friday, February 21st, two bands from EDHS, the Jazz band and TEMPO concert band, performed at the Golden Horseshoe Music Festival in Hamilton. Both bands were awarded Silver Plus ratings, each including an invitation to Musicfest Nationals, held at York University this upcoming May.
It was the first time EDHS has ever entered a Jazz band, and the first time TEMPO band has played at such a high category (B300).
Congratulations to students for their hard work and dedication, especially in the face of so many no-bus day cancelled rehearsals!
